Introducing Monsé Interior Design
Meet Monsé Interior Design, a full-service interior design studio based in Horsham, West Sussex. The studio is run by native German Marina Mann. I am passionate about helping create dream spaces for residential and commercial clients, both locally in the Home Counties and London area.
From small renovations to full remodels, Monsé Interior Design is equipped to assist with your project.
I have a background in Global Marketing and Modern Languages, which took me around the globe and provided me with boundless inspiration. Through my travels, I also discovered the importance of a “real home” and the hurdles relocation can present. This sparked one of the specialist services offered by Monsé Interior Design, focussing on (foreign) individuals relocating privately or for business within and from outside into the UK.
Language and a new culture should never be a hurdle, and I have made it my mission to help with relocations – making a new house a home.
Our services are offered in English, German, French and Spanish fluently.
As a Provisional Associate Member of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) we are bound by their Code of Conduct. This gives you added peace of mind when working with us. The contracts we use are standard BIID and RIBA approved versions, such as CID/14 and ID/10 which ensures that no bespoke jargon is added and you are protected.
Our Design Process always follows the same main structure which can be broken down into the following main stages (not all of which may apply to every project):
- Consultation
- Preparation
- Design
- Concept Design
- Detailed Design
- Development
- Implementation
- Completion

Each stage generally requires sign off and we tend to also spread our invoices across the various stages to give you peace of mind and ensure that we don’t proceed to the next stage unless you have approved the previous work phase.
As a client, you are at the heart of the project and can be as involved as you like; we can be fully hands on or just provide you with the minimum advice you need. Most clients prefer for us to manage a project from conception to completion, whilst some thrive on project managing their own development.
Aside from our general design services, we also offer our special Personal Shopping days and half days, to help you find those perfect pieces to complement every scheme. This is an optional extra which you can discuss with us at your Consultation.
